When Wendy's decided to introduce its brand new, natural-cut fries with sea salt, they turned to Horizons to add a little zing to the nationwide product rollout. We used Flash animation and homemade illustrations to produce this online game. It's a fun and simple game, though you may find it mildly addicting (kind of like the fries).

Fans of drag racing are familiar with the "Christmas tree" - the electronic starting device. The calibrated lights count down, and the driver who reacts most quickly gains an advantage. Drivers and fans have used hand-held Christmas trees to sharpen their RTs, or reaction times...and when JEGS asked us to design a mobile app version of their popular product, our RT was pretty impressive too! The JEGS Perfect Start app is available at the iTunes store (and soon from the Android Market) - and best of all, it's free.

If there's one thing that fans of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and the Mid-Ohio Racing School enjoy, it's speed. So, Horizons redesigned the Mid-Ohio web site to be faster, friendlier, and more functional. Visitors to the site can create a personal account to buy tickets, purchase merchandise, enroll in courses and even buy gift cards. For the client, they now have a back-end system that's more robust, elegant and easy to manage. You might say it handles like a dream - even on hairpin turns!

It's a clearinghouse of information about activities, classes, events, sports & recreation programs, and all kinds of other family-friendly fun. And a place where parents can get information about pediatric concerns and parenting tips. Horizons Companies developed and hosts the web site, which offers local 'franchised' portals for metropolitan areas around the country.

The Bluestone Website
The Bluestone
The Bluestone - a refurbished, century old church building on Columbus' near east side - has officially gone into the concert biz. In 2009, the one-time upscale restaurant and dance destination refocussed its mission to become a one-of-a-kind site for private parties, corporate meetings, wedding receptions, fundraisers and other events. Recognizing its innate appeal as a concert venue, The Bluestone reached out to Horizons Companies to help turn that idea in to a reality. Horizons designed and built this new site to promote upcoming shows, facilitate ticket purchases, and even let friends post photos and comments pertaining to the shows.

In a remarkable collaborative effort, we designed and produced everything from his web presence to his business cards (and even hosted his investor meetings). Beginnerʼs Bible, An Interactive Storybook
Just because a child is too young to read the Bible doesn’t mean they can’t learn about it. In fact, with the Beginner’s Bible they have the opportunity to learn about the people, places and events described in both the Old and New Testaments. This interactive storybook included more than 60 animated scenes, 30 interactive play areas, 8 sing-and-learn songs, and a variety of other learning materials. The interactive storybook also helped children develop creativity, logic and problem solving skills.
